Hello,

I’m Lisl

Herein lie the events, ponderings, people, and animals that make up the cacophony of our life.

Pictures of farm and family

I had a post about Havilah's baptism written up two weeks ago or so. But I lost it. And now I'm not remembering any of my profound words. But I wanted to remember this day here. Here's to the little girl who grew up into a young lady who wants to follow Jesus. We are blessed.

A green prince on a pink throne, frolicking cows (seriously, what could be more dignified?!😂), and a wet chicken who had to be rescued from the cow's water tank. She recovered just fine.

First day of School pictures. Yes, we homeschool but it's through a charter school and the kids go to school once a week. Jube is a senior and drove them all to school. I don't even have to do that run this year. Havilah is a freshman. Rennie is in sixth. Rian in 4th. He is also the party.

Just my cows in the golden hour.

This is my house. And so is that. Apparently we're the ones responsible for fixing it. Plan B is to possibly hang on to it and rent it out. Whatever happens, this mess has to be cleaned up. Working with old logs is not for the faint of heart. There were some interesting decisions made regarding this house over the years. I feel like the half log siding over top of the logs contributed to some of our current issues.

I posted a few words on the blog yesterday. Two posts actually. Look for posts with a title for our real life. Posts with just a date for a title are our fun pish-posh. Havilah has been helping with the story line and images.

There are strange things happening over on the blog.

It's such a strange summer. Closing a chapter of our lives. Wondering what living gracefully between chapters means. One moment feeling excitement for the next thing, another moment grieving what has come to a close.

A quick photo dump of our lives yesterday.
